In a previous post, I told the story of losing my glasses – one minute they were on the bench, the next they were not.
The mystery was solved – the dog didn’t eat them as I don’t have one and the kids had nothing to do with it – it seems I inadvertently packed it in with the celery while putting away the fruit and vegetables.
A quick recap of the post is that I had not been able to find my glasses for a number of days, so I made the decision I would replace them.
Of course, Murphy’s Law prevailed. I paid for my new glasses at 1pm, only to find the ‘lost’ pair at 8pm.
Life is like that at times.
Now have a spare set of glasses.
More importantly, what have I learned from this?
Always check the celery first? Or this was the universe’s way of telling me that I need to revisit Simon Sinek’s celery test?
When was the last time you took the celery test?
What do you believe in? What is your why? What is a good fit for you?
